Synopsis/Summary:
A migrant writer wants to write a play inspired by the testimonies of a fellow migrant. In the midst of a creative crisis, caught between the desire to move forward and the need to remember, he will write a story that may not reflect what he wanted to say, but does reflect what he needed to express.
The play explores different forms of distance (physical, emotional, cultural) through characters who strive to remain steadfast in order to find emotional balance and live in harmony with the silences that inhabit them and the words that will never be spoken.
This is the starting point for exploring emotional ties, the complexities of love and parenthood, pain, abysses and emptiness. It is the love story of characters who struggle to find their “serenity”.
