‘The Day David Bowie Died’ at the Sa Teulera Theatre.
Sunday, 21 June, at 7 pm, at the Sa Teulera Theatre
A young man roams Barcelona with the frenzy of a compulsive libertine. His attempts to accept himself and fit into the ideal son his mother dreamed of end up taking him to the waiting room of a clinic. There he must undergo tests to find out if a venereal disease is coursing through his body. This small room will be a purgatory where he reviews the history of his brief existence, a technical inspection of body and soul.
“My whole life — or, at least, the part I have lived so far, the part I can remember and recall in these interminable minutes — has been marked by my stubborn inability to love.”
