Seafaring procession Port Andratx

The Virgin of Carmen, the festivities of the Port of Andratx are usually held during the second week of July. Mare de Déu del Carme is the festivity of the Virgin of Carmen, patron saint of fishermen and the Port of Andratx, with a seafaring procession.

After mass, the procession leaves the church with the Virgin and passes through various streets of the port until it reaches the quay, where the image of the Virgin is taken aboard and sailed through the waters of the port. A number of decorated boats accompany their patron saint.
