Autumn Cultural Programme 2026

Andratx Town Council presents its new Autumn Cultural Programme 2026, running from September to November and featuring a wide range of theatre, music, visual arts, family activities and educational events, taking place across different cultural venues throughout the municipality.

Theatre

The theatre programme will open on 26 September at the Barba Roja Terrace with the stand-up comedy show Extranjeros In The Nights by Agustín el Casta. This is a charity performance in aid of ASPANOB, with tickets priced at €23 in advance and €25 at the box office.

On 4 October at 7.00 pm, Teatre Sa Teulera will host an adaptation of Woody Allen’s Play It Again, Sam, featuring David Ordinas, Sara Adan and Joan Miquel Pascual, among others.

On 23 October, the Plenary Hall will host Càpsula de Ràdio, a sound fiction production by the theatre company Coma14 Teatre, with several performances from 5.00 pm onwards.

The programme will continue on 20 November at 7.00 pm with the musical Nuredduna, directed by Sergi Baos and inspired by the literary world of Miquel Costa i Llobera.

The theatre programme will conclude on 29 November at 7.00 pm with the premiere of L’adéu robat, written by José and Javier Bizarro. The play, winner of the Jaume Roca Award, is directed by Xisco Segura.

Music and Jazz

The musical programme will begin on 2 October at 7.00 pm at the Municipal School of Music Auditorium, with the presentation of the album Les músiques de Joan Alcover, performed by José Manuel Sánchez, Paloma Navarro and Francesc Blanco, as part of Alcover Year 2026.

On 10 October, Teatre Sa Teulera will host the semi-finals of Noche de Talentos 2026, with the singing competition at 4.00 pm and the dance competition at 6.30 pm.

Jazz will also have a prominent place in the programme, with two performances as part of the Jazz Tardor Cycle, held at Teatre de s’Arracó. The Perico Sambeat Trio will perform on 25 October at 8.00 pm, followed by the Gustav Lundgren Organ Trio on 7 November at 8.00 pm.

The musical programme will culminate on 6 December at 7.00 pm at Teatre Sa Teulera, with a performance by Polish pianist Aga Derlak Quartet, as part of the Alternatilla Jazz Festival.

Exhibitions, Children’s Activities and Educational Events

The Plenary Hall will host two painting exhibitions during the autumn:

  • Juana Loreto Martorell: from 18 September to 16 October. The opening will take place on 18 September at 6.30 pm.
  • Joana Maria Mas: from 21 October to 20 November. The opening will take place on 21 October at 6.30 pm.

The programme also includes activities for families. On Sunday 18 October, from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm, Plaça d’Espanya will host the Món de Colorins children’s activity centre, featuring giant games and a range of educational activities.

Finally, the 5th Local Studies Conference will take place on 13 and 14 November at the Plenary Hall. Full information, the programme and the terms and conditions are available on the municipal website.

Most of the events included in the 2026 Autumn Cultural Programme are free of charge, although advance booking is required through the ticketib.com platform.

This new programme offers a diverse range of cultural activities for different audiences, with the aim of bringing culture and the arts closer to the municipality’s different localities and contributing to the vitality of Andratx’s cultural venues throughout the autumn season.
