Festivities

Andratx is a region rich in terms of culture, traditions and history. Its geographic location and the character of its people have strongly influenced this place, a land of “pirates and cooks” and also of fishermen, where Jaume I from Aragón started to re-conquer the insland. This character pervades the feasts of Andratx’s towns. To be highlighted are “Pancaritat” in “Sant Elm”, celebrated on “Easter Monday”, and “Sant Pere” patron saint of Andratx, celebrated on the 29th of June.
